Meet Raven - her next chapter starts here! Many of you will remember our beautiful Raven and the journey she’s been on to have a much-needed hip replacement. We’re delighted to share that her surgery, carried out by specialists in Bristol, was a success, and she has now fully recovered and is loving life!  Raven is a Collie x German Shepherd who is a super girl — bright, intelligent and eager to learn. Sadly, her need for surgery has meant that so much of her life has been on hold, but now she’s ready to spread her wings and find a loving home of her own. Her other hip is currently doing well and may never need surgery, although this is something that may need to be revisited in the future.

Raven mixes well with most dogs and has so much potential to be a wonderful companion. Her new owner will need to be kind, patient and understanding, as moving into a home of her own will be a big change after everything she’s been through. She’ll need time to settle, build trust and adjust at her own pace, with a family who will support her and help her confidence grow. Raven has already overcome so much, and now we’d love to see her enjoy all the things a dog should — love, security, adventures and a place to call her own. Could you be the one to give this special girl the happy future she deserves?
