Adoption Procedure

Adoption Process

Thank you for considering adoption from our rescue centre. Our goal is to find loving, permanent homes for all our residents. To ensure the best possible match for both our animals and potential adopters, we follow a detailed process designed to assess each home offer. Please review the steps below for more information on our adoption process:

Adoption Fees

Adoption fees help cover the costs of caring for our animals and operating the centre. They are as follows:

  • Adult Dogs: £250
  • Puppies under 6 months: £350
  • Cats and Kittens: £75
  • For other species, fees vary. Please contact us for specific information.

1. Complete the Online Application Form

Start by completing our online application form to express your interest in adopting an animal. You can apply for a specific animal or generally inquire about available animals. This form helps us understand your home situation.

2. Telephone Call

After submitting your application, you will receive a telephone call from our centre to discuss your application and ask any additional questions we may have. At this stage, we will also initiate a vet reference.

3. Home Visit

We aim within 48 hours of your application being accepted and allocated; a home visit will be arranged. One of our home assessors will visit your home to ask questions and evaluate the suitability of your home for the animal. They will also discuss our policies and report back to us for further assessment.

4. Visiting the Centre

If your home visit and vet reference is successful, we will contact you to schedule an appointment to visit our centre. During your visit, you can view the animals available for adoption. Depending on the animal's needs, you may need to visit more than once.

Once an adoption decision is made, you will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

Thank you for helping us provide loving homes for our animals. Your understanding and cooperation with our adoption process help ensure the well-being and happiness of our animals. We appreciate your interest and support!
