Meet Gwynfor, a handsome Dartmoor yearling who is expected to mature at around 12.2hh.

Gwynfor came into our care via a local stray holding facility. With a little detective work, we were able to trace his breeder and learnt that he had previously been sold through the sales. Beyond this, we know very little about what this young pony has experienced before finding his way to us.

Understandably, Gwynfor can be nervous and unsure, but he has shown us that underneath those nerves is a kind, sweet-natured youngster. He needs a patient and experienced home that understands young ponies and can continue his handling, education and confidence building at his own pace.

With the right investment of time and training, we feel Gwynfor has lovely potential to become a ridden pony in the future. For now, though, his priority is simply growing up, learning and enjoying being a youngster. 💚

He is up to date with parasite treatment, farrier and dental care and is ready to find someone who can give him the consistency and guidance he needs.
