This lovely lady is Zena, a three-year-old Old English Sheepdog who has had a tough start in life but is now looking for a forever home to call her own. She came to us as part of a large rescue from an alleged illegal breeder, where she was a fantastic and devoted mum to her litter. Now that her pups have gone on to find their own families, it’s Zena’s turn to be nurtured and loved. She’s a gentle soul with a timid nature, but beneath that shyness is a sweet and loyal heart just waiting to trust again.

Zena will need a calm, patient home where she can take her time to settle in and feel safe. She would really benefit from having another confident dog in the home to help guide and reassure her as she learns to enjoy life as a beloved pet. With kindness, routine and gentle care, Zena is sure to blossom into the wonderful companion we know she can be. She’s had a hard start, but now she deserves nothing less than a lifetime of love and comfort.
