Rufus is a stunning 3-year-old Lurcher who came to us from a local authority pound, where he sadly faced being put to sleep after going unclaimed. When he arrived, poor Rufus was suffering from a severe skin infection, but with some TLC and veterinary care, he's made a fantastic recovery and is now in great health. Rufus has a calm, affectionate nature and has taken everything in his stride since joining us – he's a real sweetheart with so much love to give.

This lovely lad is excellent with other dogs, particularly other sight hounds, and would make a brilliant addition to a home with canine companions. He’s also perfectly happy to be walked with others or enjoy a quiet cuddle on his own. However, Rufus will need a cat-free home. Rufus is now ready to leave his tough past behind and find the loving home he truly deserves. Could you be the one to give him that chance?
